The Brinkerhoff home, designed by Elijah E. Myers, was built in 1869 by George Brinkerhoff, for his wife and six children. The home was purchased in 1928 by Springfield Junior College and was saved from demolition in 1977 by a group headed by Doris Bucari.

Currently, the Brinkerhoff Foundation oversees the ongoing restoration and fundraising events. This beautiful historic structure is available for public & private events.
